Easter Mini Breeze is coming to Burmantofts

 

Children and young people will enjoy fun and games as the Easter Mini Breeze coming to Burmantofts on 11th April.

Councillors Asghar Khan, Maureen Ingham and Ron Grahame (Labour, Burmantofts & Richmond Hill) have provided £3750 towards a Mini-Breeze at Oxton Fields on Torre Road, with the funding coming from the Inner East Community Committee.

Children and young people aged 19 and under are invited to come along where there will be lots of exciting things to do including an obstacle course, inflatable sumo wrestling, lazer zone and arts and crafts such as jewellery making. There will also be sports sessions such as volleyball and five a side football, as well as the chance to have a go at DJ’ing and video editing.

Leeds Breeze offer fun free activities for children and young people across the city during school holidays. Entry is free to everyone with a Leeds Breeze Card and there will be the opportunity to get a card on the day.

Councillor Khan hopes as many children and young people as possible will be able to benefit from the event.

The time of the event will be 1PM-5PM at Oxton Fields, Torre Road, LS9 7RN
