HERITAGE CORNER WALKS Leeds
Heritage Corner introduces the public to a corner of Leeds with an uplifting shared heritage.
Through the site narratives of architecture, trading merchants, abolitionists & Yorkshire’s social development – discover the magical mystery of local African history:- from African royalty in antiquity, politicians and activists – to a Nobel laureate and Victorian circus owner!
The walk takes place outdoors, the 2nd Saturday of the month, led by Heritage Corner’s Joe Williams.
Next walk: April 11th, 11am-1pm – meet at Parkinson Steps, Leeds University.
