RU OK? is the new welfare calls service starting from 11 May 2020. It is accessed through the Leeds COVID-19 helpline and has been established to provide welfare check-ins and contact to those who request it.
The service is a great partnership with the 3rd Sector including Leeds Older People’s Forum & Voluntary Action Leeds and Leeds City Council, drawing on the fantastic pool of volunteers who will make the calls, offer signposting and liaise with LCC if further support is needed.
