Every Friday during the run up to Windrush Day 2019 on Saturday 22nd June, we’ll be releasing a short film from our Windrush Learning Resource. To get things started, here’s ‘Departing & Arriving’. Containing interviews from members of the ‘Windrush Generation’ and their decedents, it details the departure and arrival of the incredible pinoeers who came from the Caribbean to settle in the UK after WWII.
