October 1995 Community Highlights was born. I set about compiling positive news due to negative images portrayed through the media and the rest is history.
So jump on board, celebrate with us, send us your messages thoughts, stories and quotes.
I’d just like to say a big thank you to all the supporters sponsors, writers, contributors, printers .
Big things are happening, new sections have been set up and people have been in touch on ways of how to support us as we take new directions, focus and mindset .
Send your emails through to be published on our community website the deadline for our October anniversary issue is 12th October prompt [we will be celebrating Black History month Black Lives matter and, of course, Community Highlights 25th Anniversary so get emailing! Now the best printed issue is on its way.
Last, but not least, Survival to Revival – my new book title on the Community Highlights journey as a black woman will be out early next year [the highs, the lows, the media world, experiences and so much more…].
