Applications for this year’s ITV News Traineeship have just opened.

We want to get the information about the scheme out to as diverse a group of people as possible so the more people you can help us to pass the information on to, the better.
Successful candidates work in our newsrooms for nine months from October, like any other member of the team as they are trained to become TV journalists.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a one day assessment centre at ITV’s HQ Southbank, London on either Tuesday 17 or Wednesday 18 April 2018.
Eligibility: Applicants should be over the age of 18 by 1 October 2018 and have the commitment and enthusiasm to work for ITV News. We are particularly interested in people who have committed themselves to a career in journalism, either through their writing, their work experience or their career to date, as well as those people with an interest in journalism who are looking for a career change.
