Free Training For Volunteers Offer

Volunteering training will run as a half day courses up until March, with a variety of days and time. The course will cover the 6 topics below:

·         Working with a diverse community

·         Protecting Peoples’ Privacy

·         Keeping yourself Safe

·         Professional Boundaries

·         Helping People to make Life Changes

·         Introduction to Safeguarding

The Volunteer Managers course covers the following topics, one full day per course (10 – 3.30pm)

·         Organising a Volunteering Programme

·         Attracting and Recruiting Volunteers

·         Supporting and Supervising Volunteers

·         Volunteers and the Law Motivating

·         Retaining Volunteers
